Director Dickie Westbrook and Assistant Director Glenn Lamm are pictured with Hampton Dellenger who is a candidate for Lt. Governor. Hampton has been a long time freind of the UTU. In Governor Easley's first term Hampton helped avert a strike by our bus members in Charlotte while working in the Governor's office. In the picture are members of the UTU, CWA, and the IFF. The picture was taken at last years Vance Aycock dinner in Asheville NC.

Lt. Governor Bev Purdue

Directror Dickie Westbrook and Assistant Director Glenn Lamm recently met with Lt. Governor Bev Purdue on issues affecting our members in North Carolina. Bev Purdue has been a long time friend of the UTU from her time in the North Carolina Senate, to her present position as LT Governor. She has been an adovcate for all working people in North Carolina. We look foward to working with her on all issues that face our rail and bus members in North Carolina.
